Welcome to Session 7, Healing States of Mind – thank you so much for being here!

The goals of this session are to:

• learn how to use contemplation as an RR technique
• learn about problem solving and acceptance as adaptive coping skills.
• Then, we will complete an in-session contemplation exercise
• We will explore problem solving and acceptance techniques and adaptive coping strategies to manage stress and NF symptoms
• We also discuss the role of empathy in the RR, well-being, and quality of life.

We will start the session with a review of previous sessions. Remember to pay attention because we will be quizzing you over this information at the end of the session today!
